Mesa Christian Schools began in operation in 1979, in Mira Mesa with a handful of children.  The founders of the school, Ron and Dee Shires, had a vision for a church and school in Mira Mesa.

Our goal is to provide a God-centered, high quality academic education with an emphasis on knowing God - the source of all knowledge.  We are working to prepare our students to face the world with God's point of view.  We are teaching godly values as absolute truth and encouraging the development of strong Christian character using the Bible as the authority.
